Driving through the Basque Country, we were surprised how different was the landscape than rest of Spain. Various shades of green on pastures and hills. First stop: Bilbao. Pleasant to walk around in both, old and new city. But the biggest attraction is of course the Guggenheim Bilbao, a contemporary art museum, a sister to the famous Guggenheim in New York.
What a perfect opportunity to continue with Baby’s art education. This time, he didn’t sleep through. Actually, he was so awake that the only thing missing from perfection was a little sign: “the endless beauty of crying (2016, live performance).” Oh it was a tough one. Luckily there were couple of school trips, and teenagers can be louder than a baby. After an hour of torture, we finally managed to put Baby to sleep and could continue with our visit… only to get disappointed. While the building is fantastic, the art inside not so much. Well, maybe that explains Baby’s unusual crying episode.
